About PermitCortex

PermitCortex helps homeowners, architects and contractors prepare residential building permit applications for Menlo Park, Burlingame, Palo Alto, Cupertino, California. It is run by Lucky Bulldog LLC.

What it does

• Shows each city's own submittal checklist for your project, with a link to the city page every item comes from.
• Pre-fills city forms from what you enter, checks your files against the city's published file rules, and quotes fees and review times from the city's published schedules.
• Offers an AI advisor that answers questions from the city's published requirements. It can be wrong; the city's pages and staff are the authority.
• Prepares your complete application package, ready for you to file in the city's official portal.

What it is not

PermitCortex is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the City of Menlo Park, Burlingame, Palo Alto or Cupertino, or any other government agency. Applications are filed through each city's own official portal, and only the city can approve a permit.

PermitCortex never asks you to pay a city through PermitCortex. Permit fees are paid to the city, through the city's own portal or counter. PermitCortex is not a law firm, an architect or an engineer, and nothing it shows is legal or professional advice.
